Our mission is to bring together for mutual enjoyment and benefit those who embrace the ideals of sport fishing to promote, protect and enhance land locked salmon, lake trout, bass, and other species fished in Sebago Lake Region watershed, to uphold the statutes of Maine as related to water quality, boating and fishing in the Sebago Lake Region watershed, and to help mold and foster public sentiment to these ends.


The Purposes of Sebago Lake Anglers Association are:

1. to bring together for mutual enjoyment those interested in sport fishing in the Sebago Lake Region watershed and;

2. to share the knowledge and talents of the membership so that all may be enriched through this sharing and through educational programs thus creating and nurturing a sport fishing heritage for those who are to follow and;

3. to promote, protect and enhance the quality and longevity of the ecosystem of the Sebago Lake Region watershed and;

4. to uphold the statutes of Maine as related to water quality, boating safety, and sport fishing in Sebago Lake Region watershed and;

5. to work with regulatory agencies and other organizations in the interest of advancing fishery development, waterway access, equitable water levels, water quality and conservation of the natural resources of the Sebago Lake Region watershed.

 

The Sebago Lake Anglers Association meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm. The meeting place is at the Naples Town Hall located on Lambs Mill Road off US Route 302 in Naples, Maine.
